MAYOR DELIVERS STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS
Mayor Mary Ann Lutz has delivered her annual State of the City address. Read the full text of the speech hereand watch for video coverage to be added soon both on this site and on KGEM, Channel 3 on the Time Warner Cable system and Channel 16 on the Champion Broadband system.
FREE MULCH GIVEAWAY THIS SATURDAY JAN. 28th AT RECREATION PARK
Recent windstorms have generated a lot of mulch from downed trees and limbs. The City of Monrovia is hosting a free mulch giveaway on the last two Saturdays in January to help keep mulch out of landfills for use locally. If you missed last Saturday, mulch will again be available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on January 28th. Bring your own shovel, containers, gloves and goggles. Available while supplies last. WINDSTORM RECOVERY AID AVAILABLE FROM SBA
The Federal Government's Small Business Administration is offering financial assistance to homeowners and businesses that suffered losses due to the recent windstorm. Click here for information and assistance.
WILDERNESS PRESERVE EIR, RMP MOVING ALONG
The Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is available for review. Click here (final) for the official notice and final documents. The original Draft documents from August 3rd are also available and can be found here (draft).

NEW 'PASSPORT PLACE' HOURS ANNOUNCED
Monrovia City Hall's Passport Placeis now open Mondays through Thursdays, from 1 to 6 p.m., and Fridays, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. The office is also open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to noon by appointment only.
SLOW DOWN, SPEEDING DRIVERS
