Community Services Commission Kim Herney, Chair The Community Services Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council, on all matters pertaining to public recreation and people related activities, cooperating with all government agencies, and civic groups in the advancement of sound recreational planning and programming. Meetings are open to the public on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Monroe Room of the Monrovia Community Center, 119 West Palm Avenue.
