MONROVIA CANYON PARK CABIN AND CONFERENCE CENTER BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, FAMILY GATHERINGS, SOCIAL EVENTS, WEDDINGS Although Canyon Park itself was opened in 1911, the Cabin was renovated in 1997. Its amenities include a warm, rustic ambiance. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave and sink. Cooking may be done outdoors on the Cabin's barbecues. Catering services are available. The Cabin has 1400 square feet available for a variety of activities ranging from management retreats to family reunions and small weddings (50 guests). A wood burning fireplace, 10 (6') tables and 50 chairs, private picnic area, and a large deck allow you to meet with friends or business associates in a relaxing atmosphere. Three trail heads lead to the year-round Monrovia Falls. Starting from the Entrance Station parking lot the hiking trip distance is 1 3/4 miles, affording excellent views of the Sawpit Dam. The center parking level provides for a 1-mile trip. From the back of the picnic area at the Nature Center the trip distance is only 3/4 mile.
