Santa Anita Canyon Road Repair - Project No. C-3007

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS & BUSINESS OWNERS

The City of Monrovia's Public Works Department awarded a contract to D.J. SCHEFFLER, INC. to do the street repair at two (2) locations along Santa Anita Canyon Road. On December 10, 2012 we will start construction of the above project.

Anticipated completion date: April 2013.

The general scope of work includes excavation, drilling of pile shafts, installation of soldier piles and wood logging, grading, asphalt removal and replacement, drainage and street striping.

We understand that this construction project will impact residents and businesses in your neighborhood; we want to assure you that we will do everything possible to minimize this impact.

During construction one lane of the roadway will remain open, we will make every effort to maintain access to and from Chantry Flats property at all times, including emergencies, providing flagmen to assist us during construction activities.

Our work hours are from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and no construction is anticipated during weekends.

For your safety, please observe and comply with all posted construction and traffic signs. The street will be open for traffic at the end of each work day, or whenever construction work is not in progress.

Mon. -Feb. 04, 2013- Drilling piles at southern area. Intermittent lane closure only as necessary for few minutes at a time. One lane of the roadway will remain open.

Tues. -Feb. 05, 2013- Drilling piles at southern area. Intermittent lane closure only as necessary for few minutes at a time. One lane of the roadway will remain open.

Wed. - Feb. 06, 2013- Drilling piles at southern area. Intermittent lane closure only as necessary for few minutes at a time. One lane of the roadway will remain open.
