Monrovia Public Library's Summer Reading 2018
The 2018 Summer Reading Program is from June 11 through August 4.
The program is designed to encourage kids, teens, and adults to read over the summer. Support from the community helps children and teens retain and enhance their reading skills while fighting against the ‘summer slide’, the tendency for children to lose some of the achievement gains they made during the previous school year.
Last summer, 2,980 people enrolled in Summer Reading and over 6,279 attended programs at the library.
Help make this summer even better! If you would like to donate, fill out the form below and drop it off at the library. Your contribution will support readers of all ages in Monrovia this summer!
If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Annette Simpson at (626) 256-8269 or email@example.com.
Teens! Sign up today to help make the Summer Reading Program even better. Teen Volunteer Applications are due May 11, 2018. If you have questions, contact Stephanie Aurelio at 626-256-8261 or firstname.lastname@example.org
