Register for the City's New Youth Sports Program

Post Date:01/13/2019 12:00 PM

Registration is now open for the new co-ed Youth Sports Program. All 4th and 5th grade boys and girls have the opportunity to join the indoor volleyball team for the winter season.

“The City of Monrovia Recreation Division is excited to, once again, offer a premier activity for the youth,” said Katie Distelrath, recreation manager. “This is a great opportunity for 4th and 5th graders to stay active, make new friends and best off all have fun!”

The reimagined Youth Sports Program provides City-wide sports programming instead of a school-site specific program. The fresh concept allows for youth to play on teams with youth from different schools while encouraging parent involvement. Participants will develop skills that promote physical activity and teamwork in an engaging, supportive environment.
