Curfew for Los Angeles County - June 1, 2020
The Los Angeles County has issued another curfew today. The curfew will be in place tonight from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the following day. As a reminder, a part of the reason why this Order is being issued is because amongst the peaceful protest, there continues to be organized looting and danger to persons and property. At 6 p.m., residents should remain in their homes and only go out to seek medical care or go to an essential job.
At this time, we respectfully request that residents refrain from calling 911 for all non-emergency calls. Due to preparations efforts, our police and fire personnel are on alert to diligently serve our community. We respectfully ask our community to only call 911 for an emergency.
Lastly, with the curfew in place, the Hillside Wilderness Preserve along with all City parks will close by 6 p.m.
