Business Emergency Resiliency Training (BERT)
BERT is an ongoing business preparedness program designed to give you the knowledge and tools to prepare your business to weather a disaster. This six seminar series uses lecture, small group, and hands-on activities to develop the skills necessary to design your business operations and continuity plans as well as promote preparedness among your employees. All seminars are stand-alone and can be completed in any order.
After completing all six seminars, developing and exercising your plan, and developing an employee preparedness policy, businesses can apply for the Monrovia Prepares Business designation. Businesses attaining this distinction will be recognized at a City Council meeting in September which is National Preparedness Month.
BERT Courses are FREE and Offered Every Other Month!
